Credits & Thank-yous.

A Maori proverb talks about what makes something most important, their response is He tangata, he tangata, he tangata' . This translate as
'It is the people, the people, the people'.

Developing a collection point of information, sourcing and verifying information requires the effort, time, and the wisdom of many - some might say a Clan.

This credit is a small way to acknowledge the support of those who have made this collection point of things Tolmie possible.
Again, a heart felt thank you.

With thanks to:

  • Hamish Taylor, a native Gaelic speaker from the Isle of Harris for his appreciated assistance with Gaelic names and phrases, thank you.
  • Kevin & Wilma Tolmie, who birthed the Tolmie Tartan, and the first Tolmie family Coat of Arms. Thank you Kevin for your assistance.
  • Gordon MacGregor, for you assistance in genealogical matters pertaining to the Tolmie sept. Many thanks.
